Working Principle of the Tricone Bit

Simultaneously, a downward force or impact force is applied, enabling the Tricone Bit to continuously cut and crush rock.

As it rotates, the cones' teeth repeatedly make contact with the rock surface. Through friction and impact, the cutting teeth and surfaces scrape and crush the rock, reducing it to small particles. With sustained rotation, the Tricone Bit progressively drills deeper, creating a complete borehole.
